Paddle fitting

Forty-five minutes on court with a coach, working out the paddle, grip size and weight that actually suit your game and your arm — before you spend anything.

The session

How a fitting runs

1. Your profile

We start with your Paddle Match result, or build one on the spot: how you win points, what your arm can take, and what you're spending.

2. Grip and hand

Grip circumference measured against your hand, then built up or shaved until the paddle sits properly. Most people are playing with the wrong grip size.

3. On-court testing

Three shortlisted paddles, same drills — dinks, resets, drives and hands battles — so the difference is something you feel, not something you read.

4. Weight and balance

Lead tape at the throat and the head until the swing weight is right for your speed. You leave knowing the exact set-up, not just the model.

5. Written summary

Emailed the same week: paddle, grip size, weight, balance and where to buy it. Recommended on fit, not commission.

Questions

Before you ask

How long does a fitting take?

About 45 minutes on court, plus a written summary emailed afterwards.

What does it cost?

POA. We'll confirm the price when we come back to you with times.

Do you only fit paddles you sell?

No. We recommend on fit, not commission — if the right paddle isn't one we carry, we'll say so.

I already have a paddle I like.

Bring it. Half of fitting is making the paddle you own work better — grip size, weight and balance.
